Overview
MedHook (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by 1PuttHealth LLC. This policy describes what data we collect when you use medhook.dev, and how we use it.
Important: MedHook is a self-hosted platform. Your healthcare data and Protected Health Information (PHI) are processed exclusively on infrastructure you own and operate. We never receive, store, or process your patients' data.
What We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and OAuth identifiers (GitHub or Google user ID) to authenticate you and deliver the service.
Usage Analytics
Your self-hosted MedHook engine reports aggregate metrics to medhook.dev: workflow execution counts, credit consumption, and adapter usage. This data contains no patient records or clinical content — only counters and timestamps used to enforce license limits and display your usage dashboard.
Billing Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store full card numbers.
Cookies and Session Data
We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies for authentication. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
What We Do Not Collect
- Patient records or Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Clinical data flowing through your MedHook engine
- Contents of your workflow configurations or adapter credentials
- Data from systems your engine connects to (EHRs, labs, payers)
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services in operating medhook.dev:
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
- GitHub / Google OAuth — Optional social sign-in
- Resend — Transactional email (magic links, receipts)
- Vercel — Web app hosting
- Neon — Managed PostgreSQL (account data only)
Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. Usage analytics records are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@medhook.dev.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@medhook.dev.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above and notify active subscribers by email for material changes.
